Man, I haven't gotten on here in a while. That was a fun weekend! After running over everyone we all decided to become GoPro experts and try new places on the cars and run them. So fun! :D

I don't have one:(

I think the guys might have one of me in the passenger seat, giggling as they took 2nd gear in the keyhole, and shot out of the apex onto the back straight like a rocket ship!

This one with the down force is great. SRT engineers had said that the ACR was generating DF even as low as 50 mph. Although they have posted video showing G's and DF like the Ring video, I knew they wouldn't post one with speed included. Nice job. I bet it was a fun project.

yeh that is Luke also in the video you posted.

He is driving an '08 ACR 'clone', and I believe that's 'harry's laptimer' that he has on his ph, he just mounts it to the windshield.

Sigh....I take it back then. Too bad he doesn't specify that in the comments. In the other downforce video he calls it an ACR.
Is he using an algorithm to approximate DF vs speed or is it actually being measured in the suspension/splitter the way Dodge did it?

According to dodge the acr makes 1000 lbs downforce at 150.
the equation is
df= v² x .04444

Dodge did the hard part in the wind tunnel, i would imagine the ring video is calculated in the same manner that i did.
Since dodge tells us what the car makes at given speeds you can just adjust the equation.
Coupe Viper 100lbs @ 150
df=v² x .00444

My car hasnt been to a  wind tunnel but the wing and splitter are replicas of the 2010 acr design, which probably produce a lil more downforce on the rear. The angle of attack changed the margin as well but i think is less than 6 percent across the whole range of adjustments. Obviously the windows being down and the air pressure will effect the total df. But who is counting.
