I had hoped for better happenings Jeff.  Since Jtin and BadACR have been having exactly the same "luck" this year I won't complain too loudly.  The World Finals at Bonneville were flooded out and I feel back for them as well.

I am so lucky that I own two MONSTER Vipers.  I'm lucky that I own a (finally) good running diesel truck.  I own the tools and have the knowledge to fix/build these Vipers and fix/modify the Travel trailer I just bought.  I spent a lot of time with my family and wife's family this summer.  I have problems like; I bought a 32" TV for my trailer for $200 new and to mount it I need to place it over the window (it's too big, LOL

Although there is a Government agency that owes me about $8000, I expect I'll probably see that money this week, finally.

Next year my bank will be refilled as the Salt Flats are looking to need another $20,000 added to the car to get there.  I spent about $25,000 on it this year.

Didn't look like much of a sunset until I walked the Hill and then I shot some pics

At Prince George Dragstrip (Northlands).  Announcer said, "Vipers are becoming as common as Camaros.  We'll need to start calling them Belly Button Cars soon."  LOL, I was there as fastest street machine (11.5@118mph with engine miss) and an RSI 1500 TT RSI ran 11.7@133mph.  Paul's 2005 stock SRT Viper ran a 12.6ET  No other Vipers there.

My F350 needed work and the nearest shop is 200miles west in Williams Lake.  They'd replaced the new injectors and now needed to replace the injectors on the other side of the engine since $2,700 hadn't fixed the "only runs on 6 cylinders when cold" problem.  I parked my Roe GTS inside my car trailer and towed it to Williams Lake where I unloaded the car and left the F350 at the shop for fixing.  I drove the 280 miles North to Vanderhoof, BC and helped Joel Fortin/Jtin finish assembling his TT GTS but the Clutch HRB was cracked and he left Vanderhoof riding in my passenger seat.  We went to Northlands Dragstrip north of Prince George and I ran my car while Joel shot some video with my Canon.  We used Joel's Gopro and hopefully I'll be posting some ON CAR vids later.  I've been collecting video and hi res pics for years hoping to build a movie format DVD of my Viper Asskickin' exploits.  We raced until Dusk settled and then a few runs were made before shutting down.  I took a couple pics of the sunset across the drag strip.  I drove back to Williams Lake, hooked my F350 to my trailer and loaded my GTS inside then started homeward - west along Hwy 20.  Stopped at the recent seal coating (repaving) and shot these amazing sunset pics at 5600' altitude showing the mountains in the background.

At home on the Patio the next day the clouds were varied colors so I shot one of those and added it here.
Ted what was the FICM voltage at on your truck?
9/10 times the FICM is failing and the injectors are blamed , new injectors will fire better at the reduced FICM output for now , I put and adjustable voltage one itn the MXT this spring starts and runs like new and mileage is near double digits now on the hiway !

Figured I'd throw in a shot of my daughter waterskiing at sunset;

Adrnln, Last time at this shop they replaced 4 injectors (D side), the fuel pressure sensor and pigtail, D side 'O' rings, fuel Injection computer (FICM) and my cost was about $2700.  I also had the Batteries load tested and they're both good.  Voltage and Alternator all tested good.  Didn't change the dead cylinders when cold.  Started perfect (better than it does now) before any repairs, but it took until NOW for it to run properly when cold and moving down the road for the first 2 miles or so.  It ran on 6 cyl even after starting perfect and idling for 20 minutes.

My F350 seemed to get about 21mpg last winter, 21mpg last month ... and 19mpg towing my 26' loaded enclosed car trailer (about 8,000# weight.   I'm happy with the mileage while towing.  My Hemi got as low as 7.5mpg towing, but 21mpg empty.

Too soon, but it seems to work properly now (after $4,300).  Hub banged and shook truck when it finally released last week so I bought new Warn Hubs ($400).  SS fender lips ($155).  I still need to buy a 4x4 computer module ($460).  I bought and installed a new ($570) JVC Bluetooth stereo unit for the truck and mounted the 2 way radio into the dashboard.  Last winter I adjusted the headlights and installed "Platinium" headlight bulbs ($57).

Drove Ford to WL (200mi.) saw Mama Black bear and 2 cubs beside hwy.  Also saw 2 large Owls perched on fence posts.  As I was driving 65mph I passed a large Buck standing on the edge of the road.  We exchanged glances at each other and passed by.  After the Dentist tore a Molar out of my mouth (1 hr.) I did some shopping for my GTS and a Travel Trailer I'm rebuilding then headed home (200mi.)  Got stopped by the Police when I screwed up and was slow cutting my speed as I entered an Indian Reserve.  He gave me a warning!  Thank you Officer.  Our cops out here in our rural areas are more concerned with Criminal activities than minor mistakes good people make.

Although my home internet was down the last few days, it was up and working this morning.  Enjoy the posts.

The animals were all too fast to capture with my camera, but the sunsets move slower and I shot several good ones last night.

Jeff got me going again.  Here's a couple sunsets from the other day.  Fall colors are becoming dominant after a few nights with frost.
