I aquired a set of the 800hp unitrax axles, and before I put them in my car I think I'm gonna throw some fresh u-joints in them. Does the unitrax axles use the same u-joints as the OEM axles?

Yes, the stock Viper universal joints should be America made Spicer Life forged steel (lifetime-lubed & triple sealed) universal joints. You should also use new strap kits when replacing the u-joints. During installation, verify that the wheel-end u-joints get properly seated.
