I had Dinner with Jim Tait (WC vca pres) tonight and he mentioned that he had looked at your For Sale Viper at VOI 11 - I missed you and the car.  Same one as you're going to be selling?  He was impressed but felt that he didn't have enough knowledge to own that car and he bought an '08 Venom 650R from Texas.  If you're going to be selling the car he was looking at - he was impressed and really liked it.

Ted

That is to bad.  That car is CRAZY fun to drive.  I would have had a hard time letting it go :hayes:

I know what you mean by "a hard time letting it go"  I feel the same about my ACR.  Wish I could afford to keep both my Vipers but it's getting difficult to sell cars nowadays.  Many people want supercharged and modified cars - but they want to pay stock prices  :idk:

Myself, I can't stand driving stock.  Wayyyy too slow and doesn't have decent amenities because of the inferior Blue tooth, TPMS etc.

Good luck selling it.  I hope it goes to a "Good Home"    :2thumbsup:

The Hennessey comes with a rollbar, better axles, etc. right?

The hennessey does not have a roll bar and you do not need better axles in a gen 3.  Much better than gen 2

I found myself a 76mm TT GTS.  1500rwhp Viper to buy.  You have any plans to come west?

http://vipernation.com/?p=665  is going to happen again next year!  Race the Base Top Speed Challenge in Cold Lake Alberta.  (Search youtube.com).

Should be invaluable advertising ...

It's an ART GTS!

Any chance of a header pic?  I think that the biggest problem with front mounts is the exhaust.  Any plans for dealing with the heat?

I wonder if there is enough call to fabricate a custom hood that could incorporate vents to dissipate the heat?

I was thinking of adding some brake ducting, except pointing it at the turbos (side mount).

Coated Headers and Pipes. :hayes:

Here is a header pic from this thread.  Titainum wrap and blankets in the pic for heat plus a double coating on the pipes.

Is it the black water car?  that was a good deal.
