I'm working on a project at the moment... I need the lap/track records that Viper currently has... Surprisingly I have not found a list  :headscratch:
I went to drivesrt.com and tried to pull some of the articles and not "Sorry, the page you are looking for cannot be found." I'd think that info would be front and center.. but...

Anyone have a clue?

JonB knows.  He had SRT Tshirts designed for Nurburgring - last one was 7.12sec.

There was a special model built for Laguna Seca record ...

The TA set a new record while it was spanking the vette ....

I wonder if Viper Jeff would like to collect and add that info to his registration site ...

Excellent idea Ted.  Maybe you could fix the columns for me. For some reason my formatting didn't keep. I had the times in a nice lined up column. :headscratch:

I tried - no change.

I also added the new track King at calgary RaceCity.  Old record was a 1000whp Hefner TT Lamborghini.  Greg Phillips (perf driving instructor extraordinaire) bought an 09 ACR and he beat his record that he set in the TT Lambo!  Sent him an email asking for the time.  His record will probably stand forever since that track is closed/closing now.

Shooter, WOW,  That's a lot of great information. I'm wondering what you might know about highest normally aspirated horsepower, for  our vipers, gen I ,II, III, and IV. Also quarter mile times, half mile, 1 mile, and maybe 2 mile, NA Horsepower and ET's are all I'm Interested in.

Don't have a clue to be honest. Probably Dan @VS would know more about peak N/A HP for the different Gens. Or MBCcenter. I remember a guy named Jamie Furman got in the 10's with a bone stock Gen IV vert. Maybe we could start another thread dealing with 1/4 mile and mile events.

Great idea.  Wonder if we should build a Racing Board with separate sections for the different types of racing ...

Most of us don't get to rent the drag strip to run with none of the "required safety equipment" like Jamie does however ...  lucky man.

Greg Phillips, in a completely stock '09 Viper ACR set the Calgary Race City track record for street tires with a 1:18.4 lap time.  Stock Street Tires ...  His friends play with highly modified Enzos, S7s, MacLarens, MC12, etc.  That is quite an achievement!

Then he added; "And I drove the Texas mile at 230.7mph!  Too bad it was an 'off brand' (not a vette).

Congratulations Greg!
