Alright, as far as I can tell, the quickest ALL MOTOR  run so far with six speed and IRS rear end, and no radical lightening, is Lingenfelters 9.48 @145.96 mph. We are talking 568 cubic inches, sheet metal intake manifold, and Stryker race heads.

Here's the shaky video of that all motor run... surprised they put it up this way... or maybe not

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-rC11PxTtQ

Same car @ 9:59 151.05? no time slip or board...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixGVD3X71P0

I'm not saying it didn't happen... I'd be really happy that it did happen...

BUT come on...

post the screens or a slip...

something more than shaky video and no on site times...

I see that Tony Armour (Blue/w GTS) was beside the Red Viper ... ask him.  The one run saw Tony leave hard on the red car and then his car fueled out (black smoke).  I'm thinking that was a No Nitrous, just the fuel for it ...  ?  Tony went 9.2 with his Roe (about 750whp + N02).  I think he went 9.4 with just the Roe blower and no Nitrous.  He went TT and last time he told me what it went it was a 9.2ET.

That video takes about 11 sec for him to do the pass. I agree with viper girl. Not saying he didn't do it but where is the proof.
9 sec is one thing , but 151 mph n/a is very hard for me to believe. No to mention the bog off the line would bring mph down.

Point taken,  I'll dig deeper into this, If I have time I'll call lingenfelter tomorrow. I have some questions about that motor anyway.

Nice video , and nice car Viper girl, But that was with nitrous and a 2 speed slushbox. Maybe Ted can figure a way to categorize all the different Viper combinations.

the engine wasn't why I posted it... Maybe some of the more technically time inclined racers here can talk about a car doing 157.32 in the qtr... in 8.81

to me the math seems screwed for 9.48 @145.96 mph or even 9:59 @ 151.05?

AND Hugh's car has way more than nitrous and auto to get those times... That beast is twin supercharged to boot...

My Tt ran a 10.4@143ish@12psi. Yes a slow track and my car did have some issues. That was approx 750-850 rwhp.

But all of this only shows one thing.  150mph+ would be impressive n/a.

My 440 Arrow ran 9.5@118mph (blew up and coasted through 3rd).

My street tired 440 4 speed 3.23 geared 440 Duster ran 12.2@ 118mph

My Sapphire GTS ran 10.4@139mph on PS1s at the V10 nationals.

Kala ... Hugh was the first to go 200mph in the Mile Shootout at Ely, Nv.  What did he run in the Halfmile Shootout?  And did he run that car at the Mojave Mile?  It had flames!

I searched and found his car with flames.  I received an engine pic but don't know where I put it.  If you got pics it could be split into a new thread

I drag raced for 10 years straight, I've seen a lot of strange miles per hour vs et's. like the example above, a huge amount of horsepower with a mediocre launch. I've heard you can get a viper into the nines with about 900 horse. I would think Lingenfelters motor should make 1100 horsepower.

750whp/800rwtq will get mid nines with slicks.

Also saw TT Vipers with 800whp run 10.4 on drag radials.

While my sc'd Roe GTS (720whp) ran 175mph in the standing mile and 195mph in the 2 mile, at Cold Lake Alberta a 750hp Paxton ran 175mph in the standing mile back east.  A DC Perf 750whp Paxton with a Hennessey nose ran 195mph at the Mojave Mile.  It also ran 195mph in the 1.5 mile (Magnum).

Strangeness at it's best.  At the SSCC Halfmile my 720whp Roe came in 3rd fastest with a 151mph run.  A 557whp V8 supercharged Porsche barely passed me at 152mph while fastest went to a RSI 1000 TT SRT that ran 165mph in the halfmile.
