That modifed 725whp vette would be a good run for MY Roe GTS.  He'd beat me after 150mph because of my stock 5 and 6 gears, but that can be changed too.  I'm sure I'd kick his ass under 150 because of the 800+rwhp starting at 2000rpm - that he can only dream about, lol.

But, yes my TT Viper would completely annihilate a lowly 700hp car.

You caused me to view Youtube for a few so here's an answer to the Z06 vid.  A Nitrous'd supercharged Caddy beating up a supercharged Z06 and then a stock Viper (Gen 4 only) running equal to the Caddy.  I never drove one but I'm sure the Gen 5 is faster than the Gen 4.

Ted, the vette on the first video dynoed recently 581 rwhp.
I think the Gen V shifting to 5th gear at 138 mph or so is a disadvantage when compared to the
08-10 viper that can pull 4th to 160+.
It would be nice to see a 60-160 pull side by side to see though.

I invited SRT/Ralph to make an appearence at the "RacetheBase" in Cold Lake Alberta last Aug.  If the Gen 5 would have beaten the Aventador I'm sure that there would have been at least 20 blank checks in Ralph's pocket when he left.  The Aventador was nice and did manage to be closer behind me than I expected.  The Saleen S7 busted and if the Gen 5 would have been as fast as foretold, there was a lot of meag dollar cars that owners would have probably added a Viper to their garage to spank anyone that beat their 458 Italia, MC750, SLS, Aventador, etc.

Although I was there and won 2nd in modified Supercar class ... there was a stock Gen 2 GTS that had a license plate saying "Nitrous" that was embarrassing ...  A 557rwhp 97 Venom 650R was in the middle of the other supercars running in a stock class.  Pretty sure I caused reasons to buy a Viper or two   but if the fastest stocker there would have been a Gen 5 Viper it's reputation would have been sealed!.

One day I'll try one out.  JonB drove one and wrote a review on it ...
