I've never paid much attention to Roush cars. I have no idea if they were were worth the sticker asked for in 2003....or now for a new one, but the MSRP on this car was right around $57-58K in 2003.  It was a premium GT to start with. I believe the front and rear lights are also aftermarket as well as the hard top tonneau cover.  My reading so far tells this a track ready car...more so than the SVT Cobra which initially came out the same year.

There are a few miles on the clock.  The initial plan is to turn it over by next year...unless we want to keep it longer.  I must say it's nicer than we figured and is a real head turner around here.  I've never seen one like it.  It goes pretty good, but I no longer have the need to be the king of the hill for power. Wait a minute...I still have one of those cars  :driving:

I will say, the blower really sings all the way up.

I'll take a couple later today and get them up.

...don't know why that is?  I see them and Jeff must have too.   I wonder if you have some sort of filter turned on.  I stuck them up on Image Shack...that's always worked OK before

Hmm, it's just a blank space on the bottom. I see all the other pics on here, Strange.

Here's some under hood and inside pics.  Some of the reviews I'm reading have this kit at 4.3 to 60 and a 12.9 1/4.  Maybe...maybe not. I guess if I wasn't used to a fair bit faster I might be inclined to agree

I can see yours.  I'm loading the pics the way I always have.  Copy and paste from Image Shack.  Never had an issue before.  Surprised no one has chipped in to see if they can see them or not.  I may make an online album

Sybil he has the pics hosted on imageshack.us - same way I do mine.  Intructions listed in the FAQ thread.

Weird'

Steve, those cars were "slower" rated than the Ford Shelby GT500, bt they had IRS and no wheel hop I read.  The Shelby's apparently don't work until the suspension gets improved.  The Rousche cars were rated lower, but were supposed to be better cars in every way ...

This is a 2003 car ...4 years before the 500 HP GT 500 came out.  It should be slower.  It's giving away 120 HP.  I have no clue how those 475 HP stickers got on there, but they're coming off tomorrow.  I have read that Roush did a better job with the rear suspension than the original SVT 390 HP Cobra back in 2003.  Roush disagreed with Ford enough on the rear suspension that they  redesigned  it for their high dollar packages.  It is supposedly a track ready car...for that era.

I'm immersing myself in all things about this car right now, but we both are having fun driving it...especially with tonneau hard top on.  There's nothing like this around here.

There is a lot of history withn the Mustangs.  At VOI X we toured the Saleen plant and saw they way they turned Fords into Saleens.  Interesting and a lot of versions with mustangs.
