So far I find that the massive diesel tank is needed.  Fuel mileage with the 6L turbo Powerstroke is not good.

I changed the tires to winters (8" snow) today and installed a Pioneer stereo with usb, ipod and Bluetooth.  What a pain in the butt!  Assembly kit instructions; "Go online"  The F trucks were dead links so I had to figure out how to remove the dash, buy a special tool set to remove the radio.  Bought a couple different installation kits.  Figured out how to isntall the stereo by clipping sides to the front frame and screwing the pocket box together then grind the framework to fit the stereo.  Then grind the heck out of the dashboard fascia to fit the frame as well.  Push stereo box into dash hole and clip the dashboard into place to hole it there ...

I mounted the mike onto the sunvisor.  Sound seems about the same as the stock unit, but this stereo looks a million times better.  Phone works with it, but no faceplate display as to battery and signal strength like my Premier's have.

Next project is wireless cellphone booster in the truck and I bought another car kit for the siirius radio.

I also need to install some power points for a computer invertor and cell internet router for the truck.  Gonna make a great work truck.  Would certainly have prefered a Cummins.

Our F350 duelly crew cab long bed pulls our 53' trailer and we ended up installing a Titan 65 gallon tank with the skid plate to protect it.  We can now drive longer than my bladder can hold out!  Beware though the digital data won't be correct so you have to revert to old school and look at the fuel gauge!!!!
