I started a couple sleds in the yard and finally on Xmas day I'm gonna go sledding!  Missed it as working is OK, but my jobs don't require sledding and my recreation does.

It's my winter Viper.   My slightly modified M1000 sled has about 185bhp and weighs about 500#.  It's like riding a surfboard except it's powered.  Unlike a Seadoo or jet ski, a sled won't bore you in 3 hrs.  It takes a few years to learn the body skills to ride well, much like driving skills in a Viper.

Biggest difference is that a sled is a great time diriving nearly everywhere you go right from start up and no tickets for cruising at 90-110mph across the lake and trails.  Vipers don't like to jump, but sleds LIKE jumping and blasting off a cliff is a pure adrenaline rush.  Even little 40' jumps are heart in your throat events.  Climbing a mountain straight up at 60mph and shooting off into the sky 15' into the air is a good excuse for a hear attack, not for the weak at heart!

Figured I'd practise my drifiting while I was out.  Nice even spiral drifting around in front of the house!

Went out with neighbors for a short (30 miles) ride and set new tracks.  Here's Angelo - he's about 12.
