1 7/8" headers???  Must be outside diameter?  I have 1 3/4" TNT (inside diameter) headers.  several companies build 1 5/8" headers.  2" headers are race only and lose torque and hp at low rpms ... unless you have a TS blower then the headers need to be as large as will fit.   :hayes:

Your SS headers will cause about 20F higher engine compartment temps but the Highflow cats will probably lower the underhood temps about that much ...

Lower underhood temps equal a few more hp and better reliability.  Higher engine compartment temps equals better gas mileage and less emmissions whereas lower temps mean more hp.  :2thumbsup:

What exhaust did you win?  JonB/Partsrack.com often donates Corsa exhaust and Belanger headers to good causes (local Viper clubs, etc.) and I won a Belanger headers raffle from JonB!   8)

I think they are 1 7/8 ID because they make 1 3/4 as well. I said give me the big ones.  :D    The company is Stainless Steel Works and it is their whole system. Complete dual with x pipe. Distributor is GotExhaust.com. Even the shipping was free with the contest!!

Probably outside diameter and they'll work great.  The smaller tube ones also work well.  The cast iron manifolds are heavy as well as the stock cats add a few pounds.

I hope you'll post a video of the car dropping the clutch and burning down the road so we can hear the sound ...

  That must be why they are so dissimilar.  Haha, easy to see it as a truck exhaust after you mentioned it ...   :idk:

When the OLD VCA had VOIs PartsRack and a few of his friends would put together prizes and giveaways!  I won a set of Belanger headers and other stuff from JonB

He helped me out with some other free stuff when I was doing competition events as well.

Actually, I do well at winning trophies at competitions, races and even car shows.  When I don't win a trophy at car shows I usually win a big door prize!  It's great.

So I I figure it's would be best to get a coating on the exhaust to "keep up with the Jones's" on that truck forum. Husband said blank that it's a truck. So when I'm gone he paints the headers and exkaust pipe with this. One ceramic coating for $ 29.99. :o :'(
