Hot again this year.  Thankfully, all of the Forest Fires are more than 40 miles from us.  Hwy 20 (our only road out of the area) was closed and they built a detour through the dust and forest that was used for about 3 weeks.  Here's some pics of the ground beside the hwy still burning a week after the why was re-opened.  Bridge picture is of the Fraser River Valley near Williams Lake and we have more than 100 Forest Fires throughout BC this summer.  Several areas were evacuated but not many buildings were burned this year.  Moose Lake Lake is about 40 mi North of Anahim Lake and they are surrounding it with sprinklers because the Forest Fire is close.  All the people have been evacuated andn ow we wait and see if the wilderness Fishing/Hunting Lodge survives.

I added a picture from Anahim Lake main street showing the smoke from the China Nose fire 70 miles to the North of where we live
