***Since I know that I am scarce around the web and limited on time to post these days, this build thread is a running update on the status of one of our new packages being brought to market. While it may differ from the standard offering based on customer requests and/or customer supplied parts, these threads illustrate what we are all about***

VS-X:

This engine powers Kevin Ferguson's Viper "ACR-X prototype" in the US-GT Racing Series. It was sent to us after it was rebuilt by another well known Viper engine builder, and was suffering subsequent bearing and piston failures. Kevin wanted to increase the strength of the rotating assembly, and help prevent future failures... and gain a little extra power as simply as possible, of course. However, longevity was key on this build. We also rebuild part of the wiring harness, installed new oil cooler and new Stainless/ORB oil lines, prepped the flywheel for a new clutch, and cleaned up & updated the whole engine. This engine went on to make 741 Crank Horsepower, and we haven't even reworked the heads yet. The heads will be re-worked at the next refresh, and we expect to see close to 800 crank horsepower.

EDIT: Kevin Ferguson went on to take 1st Place Overall for the 2011 Season in US-GTU with this engine.
