only 432 of these Chrysler "package cars" were ever built.  The beginning of the fast turbo 4 cylinders was this 224bhp Lotus DOHC 2.2s. 1500 Spirit R/Ts (Shadow bodied TIII engined cars classed as "world's fastest 4 door sedan" in their day) and 432 Daytonas received these Lotus headed double overhead cammed 224bhp exotics.  Custom built Getrag 5 speed transmissions and the first Digital ignitons developed from Chrysler/Hitachi M4S Cosworth 350hp 2.2 concept car.

Out of these extreme Daytonas only 60 were in Black.  This is one of two Balck Daytona IROC R/T cars built.  These cars were called "Shelby R/T" in the UK due to the IROC not being famous there.  I bought this car with 68,000mi/109,000kms on it.  Purchased from a young lady the previous owner failed to inform me of the cracked head (facxtory installed steel plugs in the alum head) so I had to buy the Lotus DOHC, head, s 60 Turbo, ps, rear taillight panel etc. to fix my R/T.  The new head had 17,000mi/29,000kms on it from a Chrysler "cancelled" Black IROC R/T.  The new head is ported and the manifolds have been matchported to it.  Car comes with Ninja wheels (only 500 factory sets made) All factory original parts are included.

New head is ready to install on engine and all the extra cams, springs, taillight & panel, etc. are available if wanted because of the rarity of this car.  Own a piece of History for only $6500.

Expecting 300bhp while maintaining stock configuration with a supertune.  New Stage 5 ECU and 40% MP injectors are also available at extra cost.

:D  Car came with Lotus DOHC ... but someone screwed up and the intake and exhaust ports are badly misalinged (by 1/4" ports being too low on the intake manifold).

I bought this car with the 'ole pickle juice fix.  Bring the car home it lost a cylinder and starting running badly.  I pulled the oil pan - perfect and new condition.  I pulled the valley cover and found the WELD through the head bolt.  I found and bought a 16,000mi driveline and removed that head.  I ported the head and matched all the ports the way they should have come from the factory.  I received an extra black taillight assy panel (also comes with the car).  This car also comes with the broken head, extra alt., power steering pump, various brackets and other spare parts.  The cracked head is worth about $1,000  :o  The common block for these engines is the strangest ever built from Dodge.
