I am sitting on a freshly machined and bare Gen-2 Block, and the majority of parts to assemble it. This engine was originally going into a 1500+ horsepower Twin Turbo GTS from France, but the owner has decided to take a radical turn and build a Gen-4 drivetrain based GTS Race Car instead.

This is a VERY special block. It is built out of a m/y 2000 core block, re-sleeved with Gen-4 Sleeves, and honed to 4.030. This gives it the bore size of a Gen-3, but with even thicker cylinder walls by about .025 per wall as the Gen-4 sleeves are made for a 4.055 bore. The block was then decked, align bored for Billet Main Caps, and then align honed on both the mains and cam bores. This block is also machined for our Piston Oil Jets which cool the pistons with oil spray -the lacking component of hot-lapping Viper engines- and ONLY available from us. When completed, this engine would have been of the VS-1500TT series, and priced out w/options at around $15,749 plus the cost of the engine core if not returned.

The block also has a set of matching custom CP Pistons, reverse dome w/all options, coatings, and rings- sized for .990 wrist pins. I also have a core crank that was to be machined for this engine. No Rods at the moment, but Carrillo Custom was the original specification.

What does this mean to you? It is an extremely good starting point for a high-power build, and it will surely be cheaper than reproducing it again!  There is enough "blank paper" left on the build to tailor it to just about any application. Select your crank type, rods, and pins to finish for your intended application. Hell, we can even build this with a Gen-4 Crankshaft to make it a mild Stroker w/finer fuel/timing control if you intend to use a Pectel or Motec controller on your build.
