Car was taken out for one day in Sept. for shake-downs. No M/T 's or Hoosiers , just Z rated concrete street tires. 12 lbs of boost was it's number for the 222mph pass.

i like it :o

Seems a little overkill, but I admit a fondness to the shiny parts!

AT VOI ART brought an 1800rwhp (carbon fiber body not shiny) and had it parked in the garage for display.  Built for the Texas Mile and I invited him to come to Canada and take on the $2,000,000 world's fastest Ferrari at Cold Lake Alberta next Sept.  Called "Race the Base, Top Speed Challenge"  Maybe he'd like to race the F18?

Big Charity Event.

ive seen this car on a few sites but i just dont like it. i certainly appreciate the power and work that went into it though.

when this car eventually blows away the viper mile record, it will be a shame it doesnt look more like a street viper

You can drive that at the Texas Mile, the Silver State Mile and at the AFB in Cold Lake Alberta's 2.5 mi runway!

Hmmmm, No fuel rails or injectors?  I can't see a mechancial fuel pump like a couple thousand hp Pro-mod or funny car engine would need to supply enough fuel for several thousand hp.

The sheet metal tunnel ram with bird catcher Alcky injection hat used injectors at the base of the manifold just before the heads (like what's considered normal now).  My B1 engine was only an 800rwhp engine and it used a mechanical fuel pump.  Alcohol meant double the fuel supply of gasoline of course.

I like the fogs and think it works great for balancing the front of the car's looks.  My opinion (not that it counts for much) is that without the fog lights the grille is too small for the width of the car.

I like the looks of my Sapphire GTS much better now that I've tinted the headlights, clear markers and the fogs.  I also like the looks of the ACR's black out panels.

I really like the looks of the GTS posted, but I never even noticed that the fog 'pits' were gone until you posted that.  The photo and the Black sort of make it difficult to see the grille opening as well.

Good catch.         :2thumbsup:
