LOL, Darryl.  Now I just need to spend another $14,000 and I'll be ready to go!   :idk:

Good news is that if I would have been at the SSCC event last weekend I would have collected second fastest or third.  That would have pushed GM right off of the Podium!  The World famous Moore ZR1 only gained 2mph since last fall and he was 5mph slower than me.  With the added 60whp I'd expected to gain I would have beaten the Bonneville GT500 Mustang that ran the mile at 183mph by at least a few mph.    Mark Capener brought out his 'A' game and his 1500whp Lambo AWD ran another 232mph, which is good for fastest!  again.

Unfortunately, it seems that Dodge didn't make the Podium ...    Looking at the results from last fall event Dodges didn't even run in Half or the Mile events ... except for me.

Well it looks like I'll probably have an extra racing suit in my closet by fall with gloves and shoes?  I spoke to Ray who is a Mopar guy that runs a vette by himself.  Another guy I spoke to recorded a cassette at home watching a stopwatch and reading his notes.

I suspect that a $2000 gps Rally computer would be a premium navigator.  But they aren't as much to hang around with as you guys!  LOL.  Lren Holt drives his Gen 4 from Kansas City for the events and there was another Viper that ran from LA last year.

Doug Seal from Willowbrook Chrysler ran this event in the 120/125 mph class again this event.  Not sure how he did but he won the 110mph class last year.

Most Vipers are stock so they don't bother with the Half and Mile Shootouts ... Doug's Gen 4 ACR was 135mph and Joe's 2001 stock ACR was 136mph 134 to 143mph seem to be the speed range of stock Vipers, Z06 and ZR1s.  I think that the aerodynamics hurt the newer ACR's performance ...

Here is the $1400 secret to winning in the fast classes.  Slower classes don't have the money invested so few have the rally computers.

Problem is that the course is officially 90 miles exactly, but when driving the course corners are cut etc. and my 'perfect' speedo said I completed the  course in .89 miles.  That's only about 1.1 or 1.2% error while cutting corners etc
