I normally dont participate in these types of threads, nor do I start them, however, this is a different site from the others. This group seems a little more calm and laid-back. Anyway, some of us will never meet one another face-to-face, so its nice to see who is behind the username we grow accustomed to seeing. Post your pic here if youd like. For those of who dont want to participate, I totally understand. Like I said, Im not usually into these types of threads, but Im going to try it this time.

Me.

The Sapphire has a lot of Pearle Blue in it.  The car is Black at night and in the overcast.  It turns Blue in the sunshine.

My last Pro Street car was Black with Candy Blue stripes and a clear coat with Pearle Blue.  Simialr effect and similar colors.

A camera tip is that (if your car is green or blue) you should turn your camera mode to "scenic" because digital cameras have a long focus with Blue and Greens being ehanced to approximate realistic colors.  Cameras usually lose a little bit of the color so Digital cameras have settings to adjust this.  Some cameras (like my Olmpus sp550point and shoot) have a "sunset" mode that optimizes sunset shots as well.

  from a NAVY guy ...

You were about 30 years younger than I expected and NOT Black ...

I'd have to say that although you were different Phil, you were the closest to what I had in mind, although a few inches taller.

Hey whats this Navy guy mess.  I don't portray the typical squid.  I do understand that you can spot squids a mile away but I don't carry myself like one nor do I really look like one, at least I don't think so.

When my Photoshop abilities get a little better I'll edit Austins pic and put him in camo with war paint :).  The way he is holding his hands would be perfect for holding a M16 with his right hand and his left hand pointing at it.

I know what you mean, guys. When you post on the internet, I guess you get this visual of what someone looks like based on their online persona. Id like to know how everyone thought Id look? I can only imagine. lol!! I actually signed up for the Marines, but they declined me, as I have had too many knee surgeries from a bad accident I had when I was a kid.

I may have to PS myself like John said. :D
